10 18A this AM and 10 above to night and by far the worst storm of the winter, so far. North east to north wind. Dad took Lorraines dinner to the school and went for her around 2 o’clock. Bobbie came, hasn’t missed a day so far.
11 2A and did not go higher than 6 above to-day. A bitter cold day and drifting hard until evening. Dad put the school fire on but no one could get anywhere. Big banks and bare ground.

12 10A and not so windy. Ernest shoveling snow all the forenoon. Some high banks in places and a lot of bare ground. Charlie McKenzie down in evening. Terrible storm in English Channel last night.
13 20A. Nice morning. Marguerite here before I had my breakfast. 10A tonight. Baptist Church in afternoon. Dad & I went into see Mrs Charlie Wyand. Sing song at Ira McCoubrey.
14 10A this morning and snowing a little all day. Wind NE & E. 8A to night. Girls invited up to Fred Clarks. No news. Ernest took No. 3 loads of wood to Earl Simpsons.
15 2A. Bright day but cold wind. Anita went over to help Ellice. Ham here for a while in afternoon. CGIT here to-night. Mrs Tillie over. 11 below at night.
16 11B this morning 20B at Hunter River. Ernest went to Rustico this forenoon with the battery. Got 20 lbs beef. Institute at Ira McCoubreys tonight. Very frosty.

Serious times in Europe this week. Hitlers speech made quite a sensation. Anthony Eden resigns as Foreign Secy.
17 his hair cut. Lorraine has bad cold. They didn’t go to Church Practice.
18 10A. Milder through the day but a bleak chill wind all day. Ernest was up to Earls in afternoon. Group at Ern McNeills CGIT had the program. Social night. Snowing at night.
19 20A. A lovely looking morning with a frost white blanket over everything. Very nice afternoon. Wilbert Wright and Martha Ling arrived about 3 o’clock. Anita & PJ went to Stanley Rink. 4 below zero when they came home.
20 4B. Perfectly gorgeous morning with heavy white frost covering every thing and not one breath of wind. Church (United) in afternoon Ernest and I spent the evening at Lorne McNeills. Pretty frosty.
21 10A. Fine but pretty cold. Girls washed. Anita hooking in afternoon. Everyone anxious about the state of affairs in Central Europe. Anthony Edens resignation has caused quite a stir in England and world wide.
22 2A this morning. Perfectly clear all day. Dad & I went down to see Alex & May this afternoon. CGIT at Ern McNeills.
23 Cloudy this morning but a nice mild day. Got up to 30A. Anita went up for Mother this afternoon. The three pheasants here this afternoon. Chior practice here to-night.
24 Fine day but chill east wind all day. Blowing hard to night. George Clark, Sadie and Charlie here for the evening.
25 10A. East wind and chill. Not much doing. Ham here in afternoon. Edward went to Bay View for Vivian Howatt. YPS at Jerry Simpsons.
26 Zero this morning but very fine and a perfect day. CGIT girls went to Stanley Rink for a skate to-night. Dad & I alone. Anita fell on ice and hurt her wrist.
