31 Cold day, blowing. Enid & Reuels out and kids. Marguerite Graham here to supper. U Church at night. Ralph Conner, Rev Chas Gordon dead.
Nov 1 Cold day. Washed, ironed. Farewell time for Wesleys at night.
2 Nice day, blowing hard to-night. Nothing special doing. O Hanley finished hauling posts. Dance at Prestons.
3 Not too bad a day. Five men here for dinner when we expected one. Ernest went to town with Ross.
4 Nice day, cool. Mr McKay brought Ernest home at noon. Choir practice here to-night, maybe two came.
5 28A. Hard frost, down to 26 last night. Headache. Girls and Margaret Howell went to S. Side with Mr Tillie. Dad and I all alone.
6 Nice day, rained a little but work went on just the same. Four men for dinner. Anita got home to-night. Keith does not have to have an operation. No ulcers or gall bladder trouble. Raining to-night.
7 Nice day but quite cold. Took the car and family to S. side to church in AM to Harry Linkletters after Church and home at 8.15 PM. Snow flying to-night.
8 Nice day, not so cold, raining to-night. Washed. Ham and Edward here for day, ploughing and banking house. Went with Pauline to Rustico to Ben Woolners for evening.
9 Very warm, cloudy, showery. Earl here to dinner & Ham to supper. Took our donation for the west over to Manse.

10 Lovely early but clouded over and colder. Three men here for dinner. No news.
11 Snow on the ground this AM and blowing hard and cold all day. Knitting. Ernest working about buildings.

12 Lovely day all day. Men here for dinner. Went to shore in afternoon. Found purse with $2 in it. Heard that Herbie Simpson is dead. He has been in an Asylum in Vancouver for almost a year, ten months anyway. YPS at church.
13 Another gorgeous morning. Helped Ernest burn brush. Went to town in evening, the five of us. 1st baby at Mr Quigleys.

14 Went to United Church this morning and home the rest of day. Pouring rain most of day.
15 Poured rain all last night and all day to-day. Ham here to dinner. Road must be a mess to-day. Made me a apron today and Dad made a box for Nan, hope chest.
16 The third day of rain and did it ever rain, just steady all day long. Finer to-night. Made another apron and finished a pair of stockings for Ina.
17 Just one perfect day. Girls washed. Had six men for dinner. Cut out my dark print house dress. Institute at night at Townsend McNeills. Anita and Mrs Fleming re-elected Pres. and Secy.
