Baby girl at Blair Andrews
7 coming to Jerry’s to-night. Went to shore this evening and up to Rupie Simpsons and to Lem’s.
8 S. 83 and a very hot day. Didn’t do much cooking, ate out doors. Went to shore in afternoon, about 150 cars there. Walter went home. U. Church at night. Girls went for service afterwards. Pauline sick.
9 87. Still hot from early morning. Nan & Dad washed. Had two over for dinner. Girls went to town to show. Mr & Mrs Gillings & Mrs Murray here in evening.
10 80. Some breeze going but still quite warm. Clouded over this evening like rain but none came. Nan at Lowthers part of day Pauline on the couch all day. Did an ironing this afternoon and had a lot of callers. Took the Gillings party for a car drive.
11 Rained and heavy thunder and lightning in some places. Cleared up before dinner and was fine for the tea. Anita and I helped, Keith & Margaret and Kiddies up.
Cavendish Tea
12 Such a gale and warm and sticky all day. Rained in evening. Lorraine got home, travelled by bus. Anita took Mr & Mrs Gillings and Mrs Murray to town. Telephone meeting.
13 Quite a warm day. Quite a lot of talking. Aunt Sadie and I were at Ern McNeills for tea.

14 Busy all day. Girls went for blue berries and we all went to a show at night “Silent Barriers” Nannie down.
15 Perfect day. Nan Dad Aunt Sadie & Mother went to Brackley in afternoon. Quite a number of callers. Mr & Mrs Art Henry & Herbie Leavitt here to tea. Baptist church at night. Quite cool this evening.
16 82. Quite a warm day. Anita at Lowthers. Washed and talked to a large number of tourists. Went to Keiths at night.
17 Lovely day but very hot in afternoon. 82. Had Mr & Mrs Gillings and Mrs Murray for tea and for a long car ride afterwards.
Exhibition Week
18 Rained in morning, didn’t do much to-day, went to exhibition at night. Got home at 12.45 AM.
19 Lovely day and cooler. Went down to Elaines for the day. Had the Brintons & Gillings here this evening.
20 Another perfect day. A light shower last night and a heavy rain in Ch. Town. A lot of visitors here to-day. Waine & I went for blueberries. Said goodbye to the Gillings. YPS at Charlie McKenzies shore.
21 85. Very warm day. Thunder squall in afternoon. Busy. Went to see Mrs Charlie Wyand at night. Beth here.
22 S. Much colder today with north wind and surf.
