14 Perfectly lovely day but quite cold. Anita went up for Mother. Miss Stavert and Mabel over for supper. First play practice.

15 20B. Calm and cold all day. Sewing on the green dress Mrs. Russell sent. YPS at Stanley to-night. Girls drove Laddie. Ernest went to Jerry’s to practice. Russell McLure very poorly.

16 Thawing. Finished thrashing, had Edgar T., Edward Lowther and David here. Irving fixed our dining room table. Tired at night.

17 S. Charlie Dickison is 101 years old to day. Baptist church in afternoon. In bed all day. Irving here to supper. Anita & PJ went up to Don’s to sing-song. Blowing a gale and thawing.
18 Colder this morning, wind N. west and blowing hard all day. Back sore, not doing much.

19 Cold night, nearly froze in bed. Blew hard but calmed down this evening. Very icy. Ernest carrying water to cows. Barnyard a glare of ice. Anita washed this AM and ironed this evening. Letters from Waine & Margaret. Practice at Jerrys.

20 Lovely day all day. All the family attended Grand Opera at Mayfield at night. Colder when we came home. Anita finished Confetti mat.
21 Nice day. Ellice & Ham here in the afternoon. Institute at manse. Very good roads except for slews and pitches.

22 Lovely day again. Russell McLure died at 6 AM. Anita hooking. YPS at Olaf Stevensons to-night. Letter from Peggy in Kitchener. Cold but perfect night.

23 Nice day. Anita in bed until after noon. Pauline & I quilting “junior’s” quilt. Choir practice at Wesley’s. Cut up oranges for marmalade at night.
24 S. Very beautiful morning with a light snow falling. Not cold but turned cold enough by night. Very nasty day for the funeral. Ernest, Anita & I went. Irving here for supper etc. Mr Osbourne had the service and twas in the United Church.
25 Fine morning, cold. Anita washed. I made marmalade. Not feeling extra spry. Play practice here at night. Mrs Wyand and Jerry here.

26 Fine day. Anita made a pie for the social. Missionary society putting on in Hall to-night. Anita & PJ went. Nan’s pie was run up. Guess Preston got it.
27 Snowing a little most of the day. Anita went to town for her glasses. Ernest helping in cemetery this AM. Sewing. Practice at Jerrys. Ham here for supper.

28 Nothing new. Anita hooking. I cleaned my bedroom over the Kitchen. David Johnson here helping Ernest in the woods. Practice for Easter service here at night. Mary McLean here for evening.
29 Snowing and as dirty as can be all day. Mild but freezing to-night. YPS at Don Lamont’s. No news.
