8th Men in woods in afternoon. Practice in church for Cantata.
9 Very cold, clear and clean. Ernest went to the funeral in Mayfield. Anita has bad lip, cold sore. YPS & debate at Church. Finished piecing a quilt.
10 Fine & not so cold. Keith went to town. Ernest in woods.
11 12A. Very cold and snow flurries in AM. Mr Green here to tea. All but K. went to John F’s to hear radio. Mr Quigley did not go over to church.
12 Snowed in AM and again in afternoon. Killed geese.
13 Fine and blowing, washed baked churned etc. Practice at night for Cantata. Ham here.
14 Lovely day and night. Wilbur Willis & Gertrude Ackland came about 4 PM. Institute here at night about 40 here. Keith sawing wood at Jerrys.
15 Fine but chilly. Ernest & Anita went to Hunter River to get teeth out. Took 6 geese got 11c a pound and 14c & 10c for chicken. Practice at night at church.
16 Fine but very cold. Blew hard and drifted. Anita feeling very rotten after having her tooth out. YPS at Orange Lodge Rooms and entertained by the LOBA.
17 10A. Fair but cold. Mission Band entertained their Mothers at the Manse. Practice at night.
18 Zero but a perfect day all day. Cantata (Christmas) at New Glasgow to-night. Alvin and Alton Webb

18 arrived at about 6 PM and took Ernest to New Glasgow.
19 Fine but chilly all day. Ernest went to Bradalbane this morning. Keith hauling out wood. Anita has bad cold.
20 Girls washed. Picked chickens. George and Amanda here for supper. Practice at night? No.
21 Ernest went to Hunter River with chickens. Got 14c for best grade 12 & 10 for others. The Cantata in Cavendish at night. Eva Simpson & Walter McKenzie married.
New boy at Earl Simpsons
22 Keith and Margaret went to Town. Ernest & I went up to Bay View to see Mother. School Exam and concert in the school at night. Quite mild, Lorraine got home.
23 Lovely day. Marion went down to Chester Woolners in afternoon to help them decorate Xmas tree for YPS at night. Big crowd there 63. K & M got home. Box of books.
24 Perfect day, wind cold 10A to-night. Practice at Wyand. Everybody busy all day and everyone well for the first time in years at Christmas.
25 Mild this AM and raining by noon but didn’t amount to much. Alvin arrived at 12:30 and we had a big dinner at 1 o’clock. Santa very good to all and everybody had a real good day. Thawing very fast. Baptist Church at night.
26 46A. Beautiful day but oh the roads. Alvin & Ernest started about 3 o’clock for O’Leary. Everybody tired and sleepy in afternoon.
