April 3 Dad went to Stanley with cream bad road. thawing fast. Myrtle very sick. No YPS. Roads too bad.
Good Friday
4 Same old thing. Raining at noon. Breaking out roads. Mrs Wyand went home this evening. Reg and girls at Freds in evening. Long letter from Marion.

5 Just a glorious spring day. Thawing. Feeling a little better. Side very sore.
Easter
6 Fine all day. Sick and mean. Sent parcel to Marion. McGarrys mats expressed. Keith took Lowther girls and Reg to H River. Ham here in evening.
7 In woods in morning. Girls washed a big one. Snow in afternoon. Keith went for Dr. Myrtle very miserable.
8 Silver thaw. Slushy. Myrtle still miserable. Dad has a cold.

9 Lovely day. Mother came down. Mrs Wyand called in AM and Mr & Mrs Bishop in afternoon. Feeling some better at night.
10 Fine day, blowing a gale all day and thawing. Dad took Mother home this morning on his way to Stanley with cream. Lorne called with a bottle of ginger ale and 2 oranges. Directors meeting in hall.
April 11 Fine in morning. Rained after dinner, but cleared up lovely again. Feeling pretty mean. Ernest brought Mrs Wyand out again. Mr Bishop here for awhile. XYZ. Broke out church hill this morning. Big thaw to-day.
12 Fine day but wind north and cold. Mrs Wyand went home from church in afternoon. Cecil was to church. Mr. Bishop preached a temperance sermon. Jerry over in evening. Very weak at night.
13 Girls & Dad washed. Wind SW again. Dad went up to Cecils to thrash. Keith in woods. Ham here in afternoon. Jean and Wesley here in evening. 14th fine. Better.

15 Myrtle very sick severe pain. Dr and Mrs Wyand here. Snowing and blowing hard from North. Ice is solid. Myrtle some better in evening but still very sick.
16 Myrtle some better this AM slept well still very sore. Took Mrs Wyand home and went to Harolds road fair froze. Keith hauling wood. Wind very cold. Hester down in afternoon, made Anita dress. Mr & Mrs. Bishop, Mary G & David here in evening.
17 Fine, wind south again. Ham here. Very weak. Finished hauling wood. Fine and warm. Snow banks getting small. YPS at Roy Lairds. Road mostly bare.
