22 Fine day, not very cold. School concert at night. Roads bad, hardly any snow. Keith took me to concert in a carriage. Concert good. Made $20.00
23 Grey morning, and a raging snow storm by night. Roger Simpson funeral in the afternoon. Got a lot of cards in mail.
24 Fine in AM. New breaking roads till noon. Busy baking. Youngsters skating in pond at night. Ernest & I went to Mr Bishops for evening.
25 Just a perfect day. Santa pretty good to all. We were up to Bay View for dinner and they all came down in the evening. Cecil & Leona went skating with the rest of the bunch. Pond pretty good.
26 Snowing a little, not cold, but wind bleak. Went over to see Mrs Austins in afternoon. She looks pretty bad. YP at Milton McKenzie’s last night. Keith took wood sleigh and took Lowther girls and Anita & Lorraine.
27 Wind east, not frosty but cold and drifting in afternoon. Went down to see Mrs Albert in afternoon. Anita & Keith cleaned the church. Cecil & Leona down in evening to practice. Storm coming. Lady has a very sore foot.

28 Sunday. Big Northeast snow storm in morning. Calmed down in night. Anita got home at noon. No preaching anywhere around, roads bad. Had a wonderful quiet day.
29 Lovely day, not very cold. Girls washed. Bunch went skating at night on pond.
30 Just a grand day. All went skating in the afternoon. Even to me. Young folks skating at night. Ernest went with them. Letters from Marion & Elaine.
31 Fine again and a perfect night. About thirty down skating to-night. Elmer down. Put a small mat in frames. Been wonderful weather all fall. Very few storms and they were short ones. Great scarcity of water in many places. Mother got word from Reuel that Enid was in the hospital, had had a big operation.
