Sept 1929
22 O’Leary. Roy Stevenson, Keith, Anita and Jean Casely went to O’Leary. Preaching at night.
23 Digging potatoes. Ruth Webb came down with Keith & Anita last night. Everybody tired to-night.
24 Finished potatoes. Marion & Miss Campbell collecting for Sanitorium. Mr Bonnell gave Ernest a $5.00 gold piece.
25 A nice day. Maud and I went calling on Mrs Irving. Amanda and Lizzie Ernest[?] Gordon and Lydie came in evening.
26 Fine day. Lydie went with Marion to Institute Convention. Cecil called for Maud & me in the evening. Maud spoke. Found my mat inhabited when I got home.
27 Maud went to Amandas and Lydie to Wyands for the day. Everybody came home at night. Marion in bed.
28 Gordons left for Vernon. Mother here all day. Mrs Ben Woolner here in afternoon with Margaret. Busy. Tired.
29 Went to Tryon. Cecil had a broken axle but we got there and back. Maud went to Alex’s that night. Tired. Went to bed early.
30 Washed. Went to Frank Houstons for wood. Bible Class at Jerrys. Picking cranberries.
Oct 29
1st Myrons came down for cranberries. Pauline & Marion went back with them Ernest & I went to Mrs Alberts in evening.
2 Mother and Cecil came down and with Ernest and I finished the cranberries. Small crop. Tired. Keith at Charlie Wyand.
3 We have not had any frost yet and the flowers in garden are wonderful now. Very warm and poured rain all afternoon. Run the rain water into tank in celler.
4 Cooler and cloudy. Went down to Alex’s in evening. Waxed kitchen floor.
5 Choir practice here at night. Alexs & Maud in for a few minutes.
6 Went to Park Corner with Alexs and Maud went to Malpeque in afternoon. Tired at night and head aching

7 Blowing and rained a little in afternoon. Bible Class here at night. In bed most of day. Ernest and girls picking apples.
8 Washed. Hail storm in afternoon. Ernest at Jerrys at potatoes.
9 Much colder. Anita ironing etc. Keith ploughing.
10 Anita went up to Bay View. Play at night, Cornwall Institute. The Old Dairy
