26 Annie Tennis here washing and cleaning wash room and back porch. Tennis here helping to-day.
27 Lovely day. School examination. Miss Caseley leaving. Lorraine got her leaving school certificate and a prize. Pauline got 2 prizes. Ellice came over for tea.
28 Pretty warm day but nice. Quilting in afternoon. Alex and May up to-night. YPS in church. Took Lemmie Wyand to S Side Hospital.
29 Cloudy but didn’t rain much here. Busy varnishing floors. Went to Creek with Alex’s. Tired? Got telegram from Harvey.
30 Rained a little. Nice quiet day. Preaching at night in Hall. Not many out.
July 1st Heavy thunder early in the morning. Miss Armstrong had a shock. Fine in afternoon. Mr & Mrs Cobb came.
2 Rained nearly all day. Miss Idler and Miss Cormer came at night. Everybody busy. Mont out to-night.
3 Went into Town with Mr Bonnell came out with Reuels. Got stair oil cloth. Practice at night. Good Miss Smith came.
4 Blowing a gale. Everybody busy Crowd in at night.
5 Terrible gale all night. Cecil took Miss

Idler to Emerald. Rained hard in afternoon. Warmer.
6 Fine and warm all day. Marion has bad cold. Tea at Rustico. Practice at night. Tired.
7 Fine. Quite warm. Preaching in the United Church at night. Rev JS Bonnell. Big crowd at shore and at church. Mother and Lois down at night. Marion quite sick.
14th Marion quite sick all the week, had the Dr twice. Mr & Mrs Cobb left on the 12th. The memorial service for Martha Clarke was on the 8th. Everybody busy. Miss Stewart came the 13th.
8th Memorial Service in Baptist Church and unveiling of brass tablet in memory of Martha Clarke. Dr Vincent spoke. Mr. Cobb sang and Vivian murdered the accompaniment. Marion kept very sick for two weeks. Had Dr. Fleming several times. She was in bed three weeks and then Anita took it and developed pneumonia before she got up. I had a temp of 103 and in bed good and solid for awhile. Raspberries good. Got Cora Nesbitt hired. Mother here. We had in July Mr & Mrs Cobb, Mabel Corner, Misses Vida[?] & George Odell of
