to Wyands. Ernest & I & kiddies went down to Bob McKenzies this evening.
13 Lovely day. Ernest spreading fertilizer. Finished cutting sets. Planted carrots parsnips & beets. [?] two beds etc.
14 Fine day all day. Very very busy. Got new oil cloth for big room. Laddie had a nice little run away and EC brought up the oil cloth. Mr Eaton spoke at N Rustico on temperance. Russell & Alvin Webb came here this evening.
15 Fine day, cool. Planting spuds, washed, churned, baked and planted corn.
16 Finished planting potatoes. Alvin & Russel started for home after dinner. Practice at McLure’s. Fine and dry.
17 Fine. Ernest planted corn. Cleaned kitchen. Anita went to Mothers after dinner. Cleaned washroom in afternoon. Fell & hurt my knee.
18 Fine and very warm and dry. Cleaned back porch. Eaton order came.
19 Very fine and warm. Mr Armstrong preached in afternoon, Vivian here to supper.
20 Fine and very warm. Making sheets and pillow cases to-day. Went up to Mothers in evening. Ernest sowed turnips.
21 Rained some, not much. Cecil & Leona came

home. Big charivari. Did a big big washing. Political meeting at Mayfield.
22 Foggy. Set out tomato & cabbage plants. All tired to-night.
23 In bed most of day with headache. Keith at Jerry’s cutting lawn. Jerry went to East Point with Wilbur in car. Eric & Ira Somers drowned last night at Morrisbidge.

24 Glorious rain this morning. Head not good. Sewing & baking. Marion & Anita went up to Norboro to the Somers boys funeral. Back kinked pretty bad to-night.
25 Very fine. Blowing hard. Prohibition Liberal & Government Control Conservative Provincial Election. Prohibition has a big majority 23 sure 5 lean & 2 not heard from.

26 Cloudy and blowing. Ernest & I went to Brackley Point to Willie McNeills. Mary very sick.
27 Glorious rain in night but lovely day. Mother went to Brackley Point. Dorothy Warren in Hospital in S Side. Operation appendicitis. Miss Edwards came.
28 Lovely day. Shower to-night for Dora Simpson and Ernie[?] Houston. Ernest went to Emerald for trunks.
29 Fine day. Ernest & Mr Green working at Mrs Bonnell’s. Institute at night at Mrs Wyands. Miss McKenna & Miss Mckenzie there. Anita went to Town with Mrs Bonnell.
