9 for fertilizer. Ernest working across road. Tired.
10 Fine all day. Ernest & Mrs Bonnell got eleven lovely trout. Missionary meeting at Jerry’s. Ernest went to Hunter River for fertilizer.
11 Lovely warm day, the first we have had for a long time. Sports from Town were out. Keith at Cecils. Institute at Dolph Flemings. Dense fog at night.
12 Foggy all day. Went to town with Mrs. Bonnell. Roads not too bad. Very foggy. Brought Mrs. B & baby out.
13 Rained very hard all afternoon. Very cold east wind. Busy baking. Expect the Jacksons back to-morrow.
14 Rained in AM and cleaned up in evening. Fred & Hester down. Mr & Mrs. Jackson came back to-day. Very tired to-night. All kinds of ice in.
15 Fine day. Mr J. preached in afternoon. Mr & Mrs Bonnell went to Town after dinner. I went to bed all in. Ice in solid. Mr Bonnell started today for his year abroad.
16 Lovely day all day. Sewing. Girls cleaned up yard. Got eggs from Russel McNeill’s for incubator.
17 Lovely day. The Jacksons moved to Rustico. No one sorry here. Got Wilburs incubator. Washed.
18 Lovely day. Washed in AM and went to Missionary meeting at Mrs. Albert with Anna. Planted lettuce, sweet peas, radishes, beets, shallots and early potatoes.
19 Just poured this morning. Sewing. Marion cleaned big

20 Lovely day all day. Cold to-night. First fresh herring for dinner. Little Polly cat must have gone away with old Zeb. Got Eaton order. Very cold to-night. Frost.

21 Lovely day but wind cold. Keith harrowing. Marion at Rustico & Anita at B. View. Cecils announcement in the paper to-day or Leona’s rather.
22 Lovely day. Little Polly didn’t come back and we cannot find her. Mr Armstrong preached in afternoon. Tired. Enid & Reuel out to B View. Raining at night.
23 Bitter cold day. Wind NE and blowing hard. Heavy sea on. Sowed wheat. Sewing.
24 Bright cold day, washed in AM. Mother went to town in evening with Mrs Bonnell. Keith over to play in Hunter River.

25 A beautiful spring day and a busy one. Stewart, Jessie, Irene, & Mr Beaton here this AM, finished ironing, to Rustico in evening and came home to find Lorraine hysterical and a big brush fire blazing in Jerry’s woods, for a time it was serious but was under control by 10 PM. K to NG Anita in Rustico
Mother still among the missing. Sowed black oats.
26 Pouring rain all morning. Beautiful in PM. Mrs Gordon Wright lectured in Mayfield Hall splendidly. WCTU organized Mrs. Woolner President Mr McLeod Mrs Wright and Mr Howes here to see “Green Gables.” Practice tonight.
