15 Pouring rain all day. Started to freeze in afternoon. K. and Lorraine & PJ went up to Mothers early. Anita at Wilburs this afternoon. Keith went to Chester Woolners for Marion.
16 One of the heaviest silver thaws we have ever had. Very calm, some fog and mist all day. Thyra & Marjorie here in afternoon. Marj here all night. K M & A at Bay View
17 Perfect day, everything covered with ice. Gorgeous beyond words. Finished my little mat. Up to Freds & Mothers to-night.
18 Very fine all day. Ice still on, telephone badly out. Anna & Mack here this evening.
19 32A. Fine day. Dad went to Hunter River with potatoes blues 45. Institute at Townsend McNeills at night. Scotch program.
20 Very mild all day. Parlor social at Will Grahams. Sewing all day. Tired. Ernest out on telephone line.
21 29A. Fine but bleak wind. Dad out on line again to-day. All fixed from here to Central. Was badly smashed in the ice. Group at Mrs. Paynters in Rustico.
22 Grey day and poured rain. Cleared up at night and blew a gale. Have a stiff neck. Marion got home about 1.
23 Fine but colder. In bed all day. Roy up this evening. Neck very sore. No preaching. New calf for Guernsey.
24 Fine. Keith Anita & Roy went to Town to Burns Concert. Hester & Marjorie went too. Neck some better.
25 Fine & cold. Roy and Nan came home. Keith went to Montague.

26 4B. Bitter cold, blew hard at night. Jessie Sutherland died, found her in brook where she had fell & died.
27 6B. Coldest night this winter. Blew hard. 10A to-night. Dad & I were down at Alberts.
28 Milder to-night. No frost this afternoon. Helping Albert can chickens. Group at Jerry’s.
29 Rained nearly all day. Arthur Woolner went down to Rustico with Marion. Very dark night.
30 Perfect day, very mild, thawed a lot. Went up to Bay View at night to hear radio. Got home at 1 AM
31 Very fine this morning. Washed. Turned cold in afternoon and Blowing a gale to-night. The girls went with Arthur to a social at Chester Woolners. Keith came home from Montague.
February 1 Very fine but cold. Blew hard all day. Meeting here at night of Institute women to prepare program for Valentine social.
2 Cloudy. Ernest & Keith in woods. Blowing hard and colder to-night.
