14 Lovely day but very cold in the evening. Institute at Wyands. Big meeting. Got home at Midnight.
15 Tired, over to see Anna in AM and Marion & I went to Creek in afternoon. Got kitchen paper and paint. School meeting. Dad new trustee. Telephone meeting to-night. Frost. None here.
16 Fine. Spreading manure for turnips. Washed and started cleaning kitchen. YPPG to-night.
17 Very warm this morning, cooler in afternoon. Sowed turnips, painted kitchen wood work and went for clams.
18 Lovely day. Papered kitchen, Tennis Ham Dr. Green & Miss Wilson here to dinner, church at night. Glorious rain and thunder in night. Ernest on road machine.
19 Lovely after the rain and cooler. Ernest & Nan set out cabbage and tomato plants and the girls finished setting plants in the garden. Very busy all day.

20 Sunday. Fine but cool. Sacrament Sunday in United Church. Keith went to Glasgow in AM & Marion went with Lorne in evening. In bed all day with headache.

21 Lovely day again. Ernest at Austin’s this afternoon. They are moving house off of cellar. Not very spry today. Jerry got little boy and girl from orphanage.
22 Blowing a gale all day and looks like rain. Ernest helping Austin this forenoon. Keith at Wyands. Letter from Vern.
23 Very warm but no rain. Mr Bonnell in Cavendish. He & Keith fishing this evening. Lorraine & P. over to see Mabel & Reggie. Washed etc. Everybody tired.
24 Glorious rain all forenoon. Cleaned washroom and back porch. Headache. Mrs. Albert and Mrs. Chester Woolner here this evening.
25 Perfect day but pretty warm. Ernest took old cow Girlie down to Kade’s Corner. Up to Mother’s this evening and over to see Jerry’s kiddies. Anita went to town to-day with Wilbur.
