17 Nan went up to Bay View with Cecil.
18 N.W. Fine day. Missionary meeting at Jerry’s. Dad & I went over to John F’s for evening. K & Marion at Bay View.
19 Fine day. Keith at Milton Greens. Washed, went over to Jerry’s in afternoon and to Wyand’s at night.
20 Rained in morning. Cleared up nice but blowing cold. Class at night and Ira and Upton here to practice dialogue.
21 Fine all day but pretty cold Keith & Anita and Montague and Mary Stewart went to S. side with Cecil. Institute at Chester Woolners. Didn’t go. Frost to-night.
22 Fine all day. Ernest went to Hunter River. K. at Ernest Clarks in afternoon. Reception in Cavendish at Wesley’s for Mr Aitkin & wife and gave them a lovely clock.
23 Cold north east rain storm all day. Marion in bed. Cold dark night.
24 Froze this AM but fine. Had snow at Hunter River. Keith at Milton Greens this afternoon. Practice at the hall to-night. Louis Toombs & wife here this evening. Started separating. No butter.
25 Rainy dark day. Mr. Tyndall preached in afternoon. Terrible storm at night. Herb Simpson’s flue caught fire. Montague & Blanche here for supper.

26 Blowing a gale. Marion & Dad at hall fixing up in afternoon. K. at John F’s working at turnips. Practice until 11:40. Everybody tired.
27 Froze hard. Fine day and lovely night. The childrens concert out came off very well. They took in over $40. $38.55 clear I think. Short of candy.
28 Lovely day all day. Ernest at Mayfield in afternoon. Ballot box came. Washed, etc. Class here at night, everybody nearly dead.
29 Such a spill for election day. Pouring in torrents in morning. Blowing a gale and showery in afternoon. Freezing cold to-night. General Election.
30 Froze in back porch, don’t know whether dahlias are ruined or not. Election returns so far are 117 Cons, 97 Liberals, 20 Progressives, 4 Independent. Sorting potatoes for Hunter River.
31 Fine day, Ernest went to Hunter River with spuds. Albert and wife here for supper.
