17 here to tea.
18 Very very warm all day. Went to shore in evening. Ernest & K. working at cement. Chum Entertaining.
19 Sunday. Foggy and some cooler. No preaching. Mother & Cecil down to dinner. Marion, Dad & I over to Jerry’s. First sweet peas blooming.
1st raspberries for tea
20 Very foggy. Started cutting hay. Mr & Mrs Spriggs & family here for picnic also Mrs Wallace of Moncton. Sewing. Went in to Harolds to-night.
21 87. Very very hot to-day. Fog cleared off. Cutting, raking, and coiling. Marion picked quite a few strawberries and I got a nice lot of raspberries.
Gordons came at 9:45 PM.
22 Very hot and sultry. Threatened rain all day. Went up to Bay View in evening for clams.
23 Rained nearly all day. Went down to Albert’s this evening. Had ice cream.
24 Fine this morning. Gordon & Lydia took E. & I up to town. Got arch supports for our feet.
25 Great day, got in 13 loads of hay. Elaine came up with Mr Armstrong. Allen Wyand & wife here tonight, after 11.
26 Sunday. Pretty warm. Mr. Armstrong preached in B. Church. Vivian here all night.

Elaine & Mrs Stewart came up with them last evening. Gordons & us up to Mother’s to-night.
27 Ernest went to Kensington with Cecil with a bull. Gordons started for O’Leary. Mrs. Stewart Elaine & Eva down to tea. All the folks went to shore in afternoon. Mr. H.E. Harris and family of Connecticut[?] here, they are boarding at Jerry’s. Raining & cool to-night.
28 Dull and warm. Very heavy rain all afternoon. Vivian, Marion & K. went fishing. Dad & I washed. Thyra here all night.
29 Fine. Ernest & Cecil went to H. R. with poultry. The Misses Harris asked the kiddies to a picnic at shore. They had a wonderful time. Had a fire and roasted hot dogs & marshmallows. Vivian with them. Heavy thunder to-night. Aileen Laird is dead. Heavy hail at Kensington.
Mr Myles McDonald and team of horses killed at Darlington.
30 Fine to-day, very warm and close, squall this evening. Very poor hay weather. Vivian went home this AM. Picked a lot of berries today. Ernest & I went up to Herbies this evening.
31 Showery & cold. Cleared up in the evening. Sewing & picking berries. Had a New Brunswick car here [?]. Julia Fowler Hicks and family from Havelock.
