1 Snowing this morning and quite a storm by noon. Blowing hard at night and drifting. Roads bad again. No mail. Edward and David here in evening. Wrote Enid & Otto.
2 10 above and a ground drift going all day. Girls washed. Dad went to Mayfield in afternoon and had supper with Amanda. CGIT called off tonight.
3 Quite cold all day. In bed until afternoon. Got a nice parcel of candied fruit from Ted & Anna. CGIT at Alfreds to-night.
4 12 morning 22 night. Drifting most of day. Felix here & Charlie. Annie and Alfred here this evening until after midnight.
5 20 in AM and 26 in afternoon. A very nice day. Ernest in woods. Girls and Heber went to New Glasgow rink.
6 18 above and a grey chill day. Wind came around north and blowing a gale to-night and drifting. Not any news.
7 S. Quite cold and blustery to-day. No one moved out. Only ten out to Church this afternoon. David here in evening.
8 Fine day but cloudy. Girls washed. Men in woods. No news.
9 Heber & Dad went to Hunter River. H. went to town or home. Dad got coal and groceries. CGIT here to-night. Felix & Charlie here to-day.

10 6A. A lovely winter day. Ernest & Charlie finished hauling the wood home. Dave Shehan finished cupboard

10 and plastered around pipe in bathroom. Girls went to Missionary meeting at Ira McCoubreys.
11 16A. Very fine in forenoon, snowed a little in afternoon. Edgar Tennis here sawing wood. Eric Bell down this evening. Charlie here the last two nights.
12 26A. In bed all day. Bad head. Men finished sawing wood. A nice day and not very cold.
13 Another nice day. Temp 30 above. Dad & I went down to Alec’s in afternoon. Ernest went to Rustico. Girls have mat in frames and hooking.
14 S. Quite mild to-day. Baptist Church in afternoon. David here this evening.
15 Cloudy but fine and not cold. Went over to see Ellice in afternoon. Institute at George McCoubreys.
16 Rained hard, and hailed last night and silver thaw to-day. Didn’t wash. Mr Paynter came back to-night. Emily Clarke died in Summerside at Wilbur’s where she has lived for some years.

17 6 below and blowing a gale. Bitter cold all day. Mr Paynter & Ed Campbell worked all day. CGIT at Manse.
18 8 below and colder in other parts of Maritimes. Dad & I went to funeral this afternoon and to night we went in to Johnston’s, Lorraine too.
19 10 above and a pretty nice day. Messers Campbell came and have part of frame of machine shed up.
20 2 above but a very nice day. Roads are good now.
