26 Cold and damp all day, 46 to-night. Serious for the crops. Painting pantry to-day. Two men here for dinner. Pauline & I went to H. River to-night. She got impression taken for her teeth.
The Brinton Family came to Cottage
27 Not so cold but not hot. Annie washed. Pauline painting & Annie & I papering. The four of us and Mrs Lowther went to town to a show, the Citadel.
School Meeting
28 Mothers birthday and Elaine had her down for the day. Mr Smart & Dr. Camsell and Mr Smith here for dinner. Papered the kitchen and everyone tired to-night.

29 A lovely warm day all day. Had Annie to give the house a once over. Very tired tonight. Pauline Lorraine & Annie went to H. River. The Brintons here this evening.
30 Quite warm to-day and cloudy. The North land in S. Side this morning and we had a number of tourists. Lorraine had her picnic at the shore and the children gave her a nice address and $2.00.
July 1 Rained most of day. A Young Peoples picnic from Valleyfield landed here in afternoon in pouring rain. Charlie simonized the car. Dad cleaning out the wood house.
2 One of the busiest days this summer to day. A lot of cars in. We went to Brackley

to see Gordons but they were away up West so we went on to Dalvey. Lovely warm day.
3 Colder and fog all day. Washed in morning. Mrs Tillie and Mrs Gardiner here in afternoon. The girls with Herb Ross. Robbie and Heber Jones went fishing, so we had trout for lunch.
4 A lovely warm day. The girls went to Town and Lorraine had her eyes tested and is getting new glasses. Weaner roast at the shore, CGIT girls and junior boys. Got the water running through the pipes to-night.
5 86. A very warm day. Lorraine brought Mother down and Pauline took Keith & family Annie Lowther and the Pearsons to Long River to Guernsey picnic. Mrs Timmins Mrs Harper and Adele over this evening. Reuels here. Myrons here and a lot of people around all afternoon. Thunder and rain to-night. Ina & Louise here to-night.
6 76. Very hot again to-day. Men took down wood house and Dad had ice moved to old orchard. I went over to Elaines for a little visit. Eric Bell down and went for a swim with the girls.
7 84. Very hot but wind east. Very busy. Henderson driving the men unmercifully. I spent afternoon at Elaines. Girls had two New York ladies for supper.
