New boy at Alfred Moores Jan 8th
8 Blowing and cold. Peggy in bed all day. Anita and Lorraine over to John F’s to supper. Sing-song at Freds to-night.
9 Fine and cold. Washed, snowing at night. Social at Manse. Men in woods.
10 Snowing and drifting part of the day. Gang went to Johnsons at night. Anita in bed most of day. Perfect clear moonlight night quite frosty.
Bobbie brought sleigh for Ist time
11 Fine and mild. Marion & Anita took Mrs Lowther down to Ben Woolners in afternoon. Institute there at night. Had their supper at Roys. Snow all gone when they came home. Francis Clarke here all night.
12 Pouring rain. Marion stayed at Woolners. Anita in bed till noon. Brook very high this morning. Colder to-night and a little snow on ground. Art & Louis brought Marion home in car.
Bobbie had car again to-day.
13 Fine but cold. Group at Austins. Marion had missionary program The Oxford Group. Everybody walked. Roads very rough.
14 Fine and cloudy. Men in woods.
15 Lovely day, not cold. U. Church in AM. Gertrude Lamont and Kiddies down in afternoon and Annie Lowther here to tea. Gang all here for a sing-song at night.
16 Lovely day, mild. Girls washed. Hung out clothes

16 bare hands. Pauline in bed all day. Anita and Lorraine over at Austins.
17 Snowing in afternoon. Ernest went to Harolds for flour and gas, took a cart. Sick at John F’s with flu. Meeting at Jerrys to discuss play The Valley Farm.
18 Blowing hard and cold. Boys choir practice in B. Church at night. Nellie sick and on couch all day. Pretty sick at Ernest McNeills.
19 Fine but clouded up and snowed at night then turned soft. Men finished chopping in woods. Everybody tired at night but didn’t sleep much.
20 Up early this morning to get Lorraine off to Town. Ernest took a sleigh, but wheels would have been better. Mrs John F very poorly. Anna & Anita there all the afternoon, Ernest has gone over for the night. YPS at Louis Toombs. Girls walked. New boy at Davis Moffats.

21 Fine and cold. Men hauling wood. Ham here in the evening. Frank McNeill came home.
22 Just a perfect day. Alvin got down about noon. Good car road. Boys choir in Baptist Church at night and sing-song at Webbs afterwards. The boys did splendid. We are quite proud of them. Alvin stayed all night.
23 Pouring rain this morning. Anita at John F’s, Lucy, and Lot & Lou Warren came home. Play practice at Geo McC
