15  Milder but wind SE and chilly. Got up about 2 PM. Had a drive and then the old pain in my stomach. Letter from Gordon Webb & Lydia.

 

16  Mild. Pauline had a birthday party and I went down to Mrs Alberts. The kiddies had a whale of a time. Practice to-night at Fenners. Raining to-night.

17  Cloudy. Keith put eggs in incubator. Got them from David Clark Kensignton. Feeling miserable all day. Church at night in UC. Lorne in after church. Very cold.

 

18  Blowing and drifting in forenoon. Anna got got a telegram that her sister Etta (Mrs McLean) was dead in Lynn[?]. She had a bad attack of gall stones. Went over to Jerry’s in afternoon. Alex here for awhile.

19  Lovely mild day. Leona and baby here in afternoon. Ernest went to Hunter River with three porkers. United Church put on a program in Hall. Made $67. Dad & I stayed home. Snowing a lot.

 

20  A regular big thaw. Wind and sun fairly cooking snow. Cecil went to Town. Practice here.

21  Fine and thawing. Had a drive in afternoon. Marion finished piecing quilt. General Foch dead.

 

22  Fine day. Thawing. Sewing a little. Nothing

22  strange or startling happened. Girls went into Wyands at night. Roads not very good.

 

23  Lovely morning but clouded up and is very dirty to-night. Rain and hail. Jean Casely here for the weekend. Dad & Anita gone to practice. Margaret and Annie Lowther here this evening. Brother Will Webb died this morning.

24  Quite cold and blowing hard all day. B. Church in afternoon. Blanche and Thyra & Jean here for tea. Marion & Anita went over to Jerrys this evening.

 

25  Lovely morning. Got telegram from Marjorie that Will died on Saturday AM. Had drive in afternoon. Very tired.

26  Lovely day, Ernest & I went to Hunter River to Dentists for my teeth. Note from Maud. Very tired. Mrs Nelson is quite sick, stroke.

 

27  Colder to-day. Nan put in a mat. Pretty tired after my trip yesterday. Hooked a little. Marion went to Wyands and Keith to Austins.

 

28  Fine day. Ernest at Cecil’s in afternoon. Keith took Miss Caseley home. Anna & Miss McV here to tea. Anna not too well at all.

29  Lovely day but wind cool. Finished hooking one small mat. Went over to see Ellice this afternoon. YPSociety at the Manse to-night.
