12 Keith at Fenners helping thrash.
13 Lovely day all day. Finished papering hall down stairs. Albert and Anna over this evening and Montague & Thyra. Roads very bad. Piles of snow on hills. Strike in England settled. First swallows.
14 Lovely warm day. Marion cleaned her room and Nan & I cleaned the parlour. Planted tomatoes & cabbage in hot bed. Montague here this evening. Keith got smelts. Had them for lunch. Sold Sport.
15 Another lovely day in morning. Wind came around cool but fine. Ernest harrowed garden to-night. Ham here two days splitting wood. Lorraine and P.J. were up for Mayflowers. Anita went up to Mother’s in afternoon. Got house snugged up.
16 Sunday. Lovely warm day, land drying wonderful. Back to field this AM. Headache. Dad, small folks & I went over to Jerry’s and from there to Freds.
17 Cooler to-day and foggy. Raining hard to-night. Planted sweet peas and flowers in hot bed. Cabbage up. Keith harrowing. Keith got a nice mess of trout. Started working on land, harrowing back field.
18 Cold and drizzly. Ernest went to Stanley in AM. Keith at Milton Greens thrashing. Youngsters went to Wyand.
19 Fine day. Washed. Ernest went to Campbellton for oats, bought 43 bus. Tired. Lorne up for 2 pigs.
20 Fine in AM. Rained about 3 PM. Not cold. Baking today. Ernest harrowing in back fields until it rained. Keith at Greens. Ern McN sowed first oats.
21 Blowing a gale and pretty cold but good drying day. Set out some dahlias to-night and Ernest planted some peas. Keith harrowing. May Green went to Cardigan.
22 Fine, cloudy in AM. Cleared wind east and cold. Busy all day. E. in cemetery. Girls at Jerry’s to-night.
23 Sunday. Lovely all day until night when started to rain. First car through to-day from S Side (Bishops). Mr. Aitken preached in AM. The children went to New Glasgow to-night to hear Mr. Armstrong. They got a glorious meeting.
24 Pouring rain this morning but cleared up. K. got 10 beauty trout. Washed. Marion sick. Sewing in PM.
25 Cold drizzly all day, foggy, sewing. K. harrowing potato land. Letters from Aunt Sed & Elaine.
26 Miserable cold day. Northeast wind. K. harrowed in shore field, not fit to work on land. No sowing done here here yet. Girls went for Mayflowers. E. cutting sets.
27 Cold cold as greenland. Planted a few early spuds. Daubin crippled. Letter from Maud. First rhubarb. Very late.
