washed. Cold wind. Heber took tractor to town yesterday, not home yet.
10 Got up afternoon feeling rotten. Heber got back at noon and went to Gillis Pond with Dodge truck. Road bad Charlie went with him.
11 Pauline in bed today. Heber and Charlie went to town with truck by way of Cape. Got home about 6 o’clock. Heber not feeling very well. Got lot of books.
12 Heber sick with flu. Charlie too. Pauline some better, so am I. Mable Simpson quite sick with measles.
13 Heber quite sick. Rest of us getting around again.
14 Mr Wright died. Arthur got home a few hours late. Alder Wright at noon to-day age 64.

15 Sunday very quiet. Edward in for a few minutes. Heber not very spry.
16 Mr Smith out. Had an accident with car. Heber and I towed him to Hunter River. Came back in snow storm. Stuck twice. All in.
17 Milder. Not up to much.
18 Just another day.
19 Went to Emerald, met Keith there with
horse. Got home 3:15. Cold day. 6 above.
20 Mild. Ralph Cole took the big truck to town. Heber went with Dodge got home 10:30 PM.
21 Mild. Went to Rustico afternoon. Good road. Turning colder. Heber started for town with car got stuck in snow by Iras hay stack. Left the car there, walked home. David here in evening.
22 Heber started for town again. Rear end went out of his car in Alex’ brook. Towed him home with Dodge truck than he and Charlie went to town. Quiet day fine.
23 Fine but drifting some. Heber got home 4 PM. Charlie stayed in. Got 2 chicken from Alfreds. Pauline trimming tree.
24 Nothing much doing. Cold north west wind 10 above zero. Christmas eve. Grand music. Lorne McNeill has flu and jaundice.

25 Christmas. Nice sunny day. Heber here until 10 AM then went to town for dinner. Mother in Carleton so Dad and I had a quiet day. Santa very good to us all.
