2 a lot of knitting. We took Wes Coles to Springfield at night. Roads terribly rough and washed out.
3 In bed all day, plumbers here. Have to get a new pump and pipe for kitchen.
4 A nice day and feeling better, letters from Maud all well. We went to Town at night, saw “Stanley & Livingstone” Great picture.
5 A nice day and quiet. Had Mother down. Went to South Rustico to church.
6 Pouring rain this forenoon. Dad & Don Sutherland went to Clifton to see Marshall Constable. Roads bad. Charlie down this evening.
7 Finer to day but cloudy. The plumbers here and put in the new pump and stove but we haven’t the water running properly so no fire in the new stove to-night. Dad & I went down to Lornes for evening. CGIT here.

8 Finer to day and sun shining. Plumbers here at 9.40 AM and had to take tank out of attic and clean it up and put back up again. after they got it full the darn thing collapsed. A shower to-night for Mary McLean at Mrs Paynters. Marjorie Clark Smith and Byron here for afternoon and night and Marj went to Rustico with Lorraine.
Constable and MacKay started work on kitchen shelter at shore
9 A dark dreary day. Mr Smith here for dinner. The new range baked bread very nicely also cake. Dad and girls went to Creek to-night. Letter from Mrs Bonnell.

10 here for dinner and marked off where the club house is to be. Girls went to Bible Study at Alf Moores. Letters from the girls to-day.
11 Grey day and poured rained hard around noon. Started for O’Leary at 1.30 PM and I stayed at Velda all night and Lorraine & Ernest & Charlie stayed at Lizzie at night. Armistice day. Colder and froze.
12 S. Froze hard this morning. Called on Daisy, Alvin, and Jean, Isobel & Errol. Went to Campbellton and to John Webb’s and home. Had a blow out near Summerside.
13 A lovely clear cold day blowing hard. Girls had a big wash. Dad & Lorraine went to Hunter River for a new tire. Not blowing so hard to-night. Lorraine & Pauline going over to Jerry’s. They found out that Mabel & Hughie McKinnon are to be married on the 29th.
14 26A. Cold and froze hard. Lorraine went over for Ellice so she was here for the day. Mr Smith & Sutherland here for dinner and Messers Paynter & Campbell Mrs Campbell here in afternoon. Marguerite Graham here making candy for Miss McLure recital.
15 Paynter & Campbell have started work on Club House cement. Miss McLure recital came off O.K. three hours long, cleared $28.55.
16 Lovely morning but clouded up before noon and was bleak and chill. Mr Smith & Sutherland here to dinner. Annual Institute meeting at Mrs Leigh Warrens.
