8 Mild all day. Turned cold and blowing a gale at night. Ernest plowing. I cut out Anitas dress. E & I went to Alberts & John F’s this evening. Mrs. A. keeping better. Ernest McN pretty poorly.
Sunday 9 Frost last night. Clear and cold. Sacrament Sunday today. Pres church union service at night. M. Hodges preached. big crowd.

10 Snow in morning, then rain, but cleared up lovely in afternoon. The girls picked 3 bags of apples at Jerrys. Margaret Jack died in her 90th year.
11 Lovely day. Finishing ploughing. M.C. McNeil and Emily Stewart here from Harrington.
12 Lovely day again. Ernest & Keith working at cow stable putting in a new floor. I finished Anita’s dress. Missionary meeting at Cecil Simpson’s tonight. Margaret Jack buried.
13 Just a perfect day. I went to Artie’s to get Maria Matheson to make Marion’s dress. Marion & PJ Keith head to Rustico. Mrs. Albert keeping a little better but very weak yet.
14 Fine but cloudy Felt a little better today. Jerry S. got hurt while hauling logs to mill. K & I were over to see him this evening. Busy all day. Remmy Rogers have twin girls on November 15th.
15 Paid taxes $15.20. Jerry pretty sore. Marion went up to Mothers this evening. K. & Anita took her up. M & A. were in to Sarah Jacks and called on Mrs. Austin Laird.
16 Cloudy, not cold. Ernest went to see Jerry in AM & Mrs. Albert in afternoon. The children went to N. Glasgow to a musical service.
17 Our first snow storm. Rain & snow & altogether dirty. Mr. Stirling at Alex McNeil’s. Guess he came to see Mrs. Albert K. at John F’s today.
18 Ground white this morning. Stayed on too. Washed K. at JF. sawing slabs. Ernest finished floor of stable. Class to-night. Children went.
19 Cold, clear. 12 degrees above zero tonight. Marion & Anita at institute at Fenners. Keith & Reuel went to Creek.
