9th Enid & Reuel came in for a while after supper and Ernest and Reuel went fishing. Got a kitten from Alex for Lorraine. Very tired.
10th S.W. 86. Very hot, blowing and dry. Roads very dusty. Children had picnic at shore. Ernest & I went to Rustico at night.
11th W. Blowing hard. Very busy. Jim & Lizzie came down, got here about three. Got over a bucket of berries. Jim and Ernest went fishing. Choir practice at McLures. Anna, Mima, & Jerry over for a little while in evening.
12th Orange tea at Borden. Hope River tea at St Annes. Richard Bagnall at New Glasgow buried. Jim & Lizzie, Alex McNeil & Ernest and I went to Park Corner to Mrs. Campbell’s funeral. Quite a large crowd there. Margaret Whitman, Mary Stewart, Cecil & Elaine in this evening. The kiddies were up to Mothers & Freds saw Maria at the funeral. She came to Park Corner with Stella last night and went with Jim & Lizzie to O’Leary to-night.
Sunday 13th S. Cloudy and blowing a gale. Looks like rain to-night. Rev. N.A. Whitman preached to-day in B. church. Roads very dry and dusty. Gordon & Lydia came for the children at 5 PM. Marion & Keith went back with them to town. Big circus tomorrow. Old Home Week in the City this week. Roderick McClure very poorly. Unconscious today he is in his 90th year. Roder. M. McClure died today at 11 pm.
14th Roderick died at 4:AM. We had a wee small shower last night. Picked about 12 qts. of berries. Mr & Mrs. Albert here this evening.
15 S.W. Still blowing a gale and so dry. Washed in morning. Picked berries in afternoon.
