10 They took Stewart Ferguson to Hospital to day. Lovely day after the rain of yesterday. Nan had her lesson driving with Mr. Williams this morning. Committee meeting for district convention. Nan went with Wyands. Lorraine at Jerry with the Patersons.
11 Fine day. Mr Smart, Mr Cautley, and Mr Fenton here to dinner and Dad has the oversight of this end of Park. Nan took us to the creek to-night and afterwards Dad and I drove as far as Alf Moores. Got radio battery so we will hear Coronation Ceremony to-morrow.
12 Coronation day of King George VI of England and we listened to the radio most of the day. Planted sweet peas and some garden seeds. Bon-fire to-night on Austins hill. King George spoke to his people over the radio.
13 Headache in morning. Went to New Glasgow in afternoon with Nan & Waine.
14 Bitter cold all day and raining this evening. Edward Lowther over. Dad has job as temporary Warden for a year of the Park. Job started on Coronation day.
15 Rained hard in morning but not as bitter colder yesterday. The girls and Jim Warren went to Town. Dad & I were in to Johnstons to-night. Letter today from Mrs Bonnell.
16 Rained most of last night and until 11 AM. Quiet day with United Church at night. Warmer.
17 Miserable wet day, poured rain all forenoon and cold. I walked over to Austins in afternoon. Anita went to Kensington on the bus.

18 Very nice day and warmer. Washed, Miss Gillan here for dinner. In garden in afternoon. Took May and Alec to Hunter River to-night.
19 Lovely morning. Nan & I took Ellice down to Rustico and in afternoon. I went to school and girls made ice-cream for Lorraine for school kids. Arbor Day. Institute at Mrs Dolph Flemings. 70 there.
20 Rained quite hard this morning. Girls & boy cleaned the kitchen ceiling and woodwork. Robbie & Reggie here to practice.
21 Very nice day. Busy. Mr McKinnon plastering at the Bonnell house. Put down floor oilcloth in Kitchen in afternoon and went to Creek after supper. YPS at BB Grahams.
22 Just a perfect day all day. Drove down for McKinnon in AM and girls took him home. Painting and varnishing floors.
23 Just a lovely day after the fog lifted. Anita, Lorraine, Thelma, David, and Edward went to Carleton. Reuels out to dinner. Baptist Church at night. Alvin and Jean Manderson here for the holiday.
24 Nice morning. The kids went fishing in forenoon and we went to Town to see Maytime in afternoon. Gertrude Ackland came up to-night for a visit. Pouring rain.
25 Rained to-day but we washed and clothes dried this afternoon. Wind cold to-night. Play practice here after the crowd got here. Eric Bell here for a while.
26 Nice day but wind cold. Everyone busy. Washed bedding
