20  N. Lovely day, rather cool. Keith & girls sick. Jimmie Laird’s funeral this afternoon. Quite a large funeral. Mr. Aitkin spoke very well. Winnie, Mima & Hester here in evening.

21  N.W. & N.E. & E. Lovely morning. Ernest went to town with Wm Moffat. Busy all day. No news.

22 Sunday. N. Cloudy in AM. Lovely in evening. Pres church at night. Mr. Murchison preached & sang. Marion found a few strawberries up by Fenners barn. Lettuce for dinner.

23rd S.W. Lovely day quite warm. 78 degrees about 1 PM. Wind came north about 3PM. Ernest & I went to Creek in evening. Telephone meeting at Alberts. Pauline not well at all. Country lovely now. Crops looking good. Some hay looks thin.

24  Every way. Quite a lot of thunder but no rain. Very hot. Busy all day sewing.

25  Cloudy all day started raining about 4 PM. Lovely warm rain. Artie Clark & wife, Jeremiah and wife and Mrs. Sterns here for a few minutes to see Aunt Margaret. Auntie pretty miserable today.

26  Lovely fine day. Set out our flowers from hot bed. Artie Clarke told Ernest that PEI is two weeks ahead of Ont and other provinces in farming and crops. The warm rain last night has freshened everything. Ernest helping Nelson haul Pierce’s hen house up to Geo R place for a garage for Mr. Bonnell. Institute meeting at Mrs. Hammond Toombs.

27th Lovely day. Pretty warm. Sick in AM. School exam in afternoon. Elaine came down and went with Marion. Headache at night pretty bad. Keith and Reuel Gauthier went fishing. Blowing.

28th Fine but blowing a gale. Terrible headache this AM, quite sick too. Marion had it pretty hard.  To-day Ernest & Keith fencing.

29 Sunday. Cloudy but very little rain. Feeling better. K. took Marion up to mothers this AM. Gordon Lydie & family came out from town and Anita went in with them. Mother down
